What Is Soft Washing? A Homeowner’s Guide
A surface-specific approach
Soft washing combines an appropriate cleaning solution with low-pressure application and a controlled rinse. The aim is to loosen dirt and organic buildup without treating every surface like a concrete driveway. A good estimate starts with identifying the material, existing coatings, access and areas that need extra care.
Siding, trim and brick are different
Vinyl siding, painted trim and masonry need separate assessment. Loose paint, oxidation, damaged seals or failing mortar can change what is appropriate. Cleaning will not repair damaged materials or restore faded paint. Brick may need a different product and method from the siding beside it.
What happens during a visit?
We review the agreed scope, note existing conditions, prepare the work area and protect nearby items. Treatment is applied in controlled sections, given suitable working time, and rinsed as the surface requires. A final review identifies any stains that need a separate approach and explains realistic next steps.
What is included in the price?
House soft washing starts at $399. The final written estimate depends on size, condition, height, access and scope. Roof washing, window washing, gutter clean-out, gutter brightening, concrete cleaning and deck restoration are distinct services. Combining them into an exterior renewal plan does not mean every item is automatically included.
Plan your exterior renewal
Send photos of each side of the home and tell us which surfaces matter most. We can build a coordinated plan for siding, roof, gutters, windows, brick, concrete and decks. Deck sanding and staining may require separate visits after cleaning and drying.
See examples, then ask
